40% Funding for XAG P100 Pro drones

The XAG P100 Pro drone is listed as an approved item for funding in the Productivity section. DEFRA are offering to fund 40% of the cost of the drone with funding capped at £14,476. The fund opens for applications on 29 May and closes 6 weeks later, on the 10 July. Last year, FETF applications wiped out our drone stock and we expect demand to be way higher this year, because this is the year that a range of Plant Protection Products will begin to be authorised for drone application.

If you are thinking of buying the XAG P100 Pro agri drone please get in touch.

We recommend you read the guidance, paying particular attention to the specifications, carefully before applying. If you are unsure, please get in touch with us to discuss your requirements so you can obtain the maximum benefit from the scheme.

Not all costs associated with an item are eligible. The scheme does not pay for installation costs, delivery charges some optional extras or annual subscriptions for software. To avoid further requests for clarification on invoices we require itemised invoices detailing the cost of each of these where applicable.

Key changes to productivity

The maximum grant amount that can be applied for productivity items is capped at £25,000.

The percentage paid for productivity items is now between 40% and 50%.
